About the Role
We’re looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team at KRB Machinery. In this role, you’ll help ensure the organization has the products, materials, and services it needs at the right quality, price, and time. You’ll manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, monitor inventory and purchasing needs, and work with teams across the organization to support efficient day-to-day operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong vendor partnerships, and making informed purchasing decisions.  This is a fully on-site role in Wrightsville, PA.

What You’ll Do
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, service, and overall value; develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and delivery schedules; prepare and issue accurate purchase orders and monitor fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory, purchasing requirements, market conditions, supplier availability, and supply-chain risks; resolve supplier issues and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Uphold KRB’s mission, vision, and values, demonstrate stewardship of employee ownership, and recognize the importance of safety for products, our customers, and our teammates.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or similar role; manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor-management, relationship-building, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; effective written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, purchasing/procurement software, and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, supply-chain processes, purchasing metrics, cost analysis, and forecasting preferred.
